About these terms

These terms apply to this website and to every quote and order with Modish Formals, a uniform manufacturer at 28 Alexandria Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja. By using the site or placing an order you accept them. Your written quote may add to these terms or change them for your order; where it does, the quote applies.

Using this website

Use the site lawfully and honestly. Do not try to disrupt it, probe it for weaknesses, or send automated or false requests.
The text, photographs, films, logos and designs on the site belong to Modish Formals or are used with permission. You may link to the site. Please ask before copying or republishing anything.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of error.

Quotes and estimates

The order estimator gives a guide to price and timing. It is not an offer. A price and timeline become firm only in a written quote from us, which states how long the quote stays valid. Prices are in Naira unless the quote says otherwise, and the quote says what is and is not included.

Orders, minimums and samples

Bulk production starts at 200 units per design. For schools we can accept 100 units per class where the total order is 200 or more.
A sample kit of 1 to 10 pieces is separate. It is for checking fabric, fit and finish before you order. It is not a small-order service.
An order begins when you accept our written quote and sign off the specification. We ask you to approve a sample before production starts. Changes after sign-off can change the price and the timeline, and we will tell you before we go ahead.

Payment

Unless your quote says otherwise, we ask for a 70% deposit when you approve the sample and the remaining 30% before delivery. We may hold production or delivery while an amount due is unpaid.

Lead times

Lead times are our best estimate for an approved specification. The clock starts when the sample is approved and the deposit is received, and it depends on the product line, the quantity and any customisation such as crests or logos. Faster production may be available and is quoted separately. A delay caused by late approvals, late payment or changes you ask for moves the date accordingly.

Your logos, crests and designs

When you give us a logo, crest or design, you confirm you have the right to use it and to have it reproduced. We use it only to make your order. We are not responsible for a claim that something you supplied infringes another person’s rights.

Delivery and checking your goods

Delivery method, cost and timing are set out in your quote. We check every garment against the approved sample before it leaves the floor. Please inspect your order when it arrives and tell us promptly, in writing, if anything does not match the approved specification.

If something is wrong

If goods do not match the approved specification, we will agree a remedy with you, which may be a repair, a replacement or a credit, in line with your written quote. Because garments are made to your specification, cancellations and changes after sign-off or sample approval are handled case by case and are set out in your quote.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, our responsibility for an order is limited to the price paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss. We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a problem arises, please talk to us first so we can try to put it right. If we cannot agree, the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction.
